The Other Man's Voice In My Bedroom

I don't know what it is about gamers and I know it's not kind to stereotype.  But, show me a gamer who doesn't do this and I will resend my comments.  From the oldest, to the youngest...and I have met a LOT of gamers!  Gamers like to watch videos OF OTHER GAMERS.  They watch them play the same game they play, to learn tricks and maneuvers, and strategies.  They watch them play OTHER games...just for the pure joy and entertainment of it.  They listen to streams and podcasts ABOUT other games and all things pertaining to the gaming world.  These OTHER gamers, become everyday household names.  They are spoken of as if they are their BFF (best friend forever) and in most cases, that's truly how they feel.  When you look at Jace's You Tube Channel and feed, it is VERY different from mine (do I have a You Tube channel?).

Let me introduce you to Jace's BFF.  If we snuggle up on the couch, he'll ask if he can pull up some Quicky Baby.  When we first snuggle into bed every evening...the first sound I hear is:

"Hi everybody...it's QuickyBaby and..."

Quick introduction:QuickyBaby has been sharing his passion for video games full time on Twitch since 2012. Famed for an analytical approach laced with wit that his community has bonded deeply with.

QuickyBaby is a great player and commentor solely focused on the game  World of Tanks.

Jace does not play World of Tanks.  Now, to be fair, he did for a short period of time and loved it.  He has always been fascinated with history and especially military history.  He loves to reminisce about his youth, growing up on military bases.  He knew every tank, every craft, every rank.  It was a little boy's playground and Jace loved to play in it.  I DO chuckle a little bit every time I hear his voice though.  He truly is a part of our lives!  I couldn't pick him out of a crowd, and I don't know anything about his life(other than I hear him mention a wife at on occasion), but QuickyBaby...if you ever read this, I thought you'd want to know...my husband relaxes each evening to the sound of your voice!

The ADHD Diagnosis...that changes things.

My husband and my youngest son, at the age of 17, were butting heads often.  He was the last child left at home and though he only came up...
